Asante Kotoko SC close to purchasing Fabulous Ladies FC as women’s team

As part of requirement by Confederation of African Football (CAF), for every club under it umbrella to meet before participating in the CAF Inter-Club competitions, Asante Kotoko SC has taken the step to acquire relegated Women’s football club Fabulous Ladies FC.

Fabulous Ladies FC suffered relegation from the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League following poor performance in the 2022-23 league season. They will now trade in the Division One League, next season.

Reports getting to the Nkrataasem.com front desk, disclosed that Ghana Premier League side Asante Kotoko Sporting Club are in the process of sealing an agreement with Fabulous Ladies FC, to become new financiers.

Kotoko who is bent on having women’s team, believe Fabulous Ladies FC is the right club to their ambition.

The move will allow for Fabulous Ladies to become the official women’s football side for Asante Kotoko Sporting Club; a development that satisfies club licensing requirements.

Talks is advanced and soon be announced to the public.
