Hearts of Oak SC has a huge task to clear after the release of 2023-24 BetPawa Premier League fixtures. The Phobians will start the campaign with trip to the North, and face Real Tamale United a side they lost to last season.

They will then host Nsoatreman FC at home before games against newly promoted club Bofoakwa Tano, MTN FA Cup Champions Dreams FC and Kpando Heart of Lions FC, another new entrants.

Ahead of the commencement of season, Albert Eonde is expecting a refreshed Hearts of Oak to perform strongly in their first five fixtures of the 2023/24 season.

“You know I came here in the middle of the 2022/23 campaign but I have studied how the league is being played. For what I know is that there is no small game in the Ghana Premier League no matter which team you are playing against. The team can be big on paper, the name and everything but is a game of football,” Albert said in an interview with Ghanasportspage.com.

“We are Accra Hearts of Oak so we will go in as the big side without in our opening game against RTU but we know is a top side. It is always a difficult game for us whenever we play RTU but we will go in for the three points.”

Albert will also be aiming to end his lengthy goal drought when the season kick-start.

Despite joining the Rainbows as one of the best attackers from the Zimbabwean top-flight, the Cameroonian international struggled to settle in the Ghana Premier League last season.
