Wilfred Osei Kwaku Palmer Opposes Kurt Okraku’s Potential Third Term Bid
Former Ghana Football Association (GFA) Executive Committee member, Wilfred Osei Kwaku Palmer, has voiced his dissatisfaction with the leadership of Kurt Okraku as GFA President, describing his first two terms as “abysmal.”
The former GFA EXCO member highlighted the declining standards in Ghana football, including the underwhelming results of national teams on the international stage, as a major concern.
Speaking on Okraku’s rumored intention to run for a third term, Palmer expressed disbelief at the prospect, citing the poor performance of Ghana’s national teams under his leadership.
“His first and second term is abysmal, so why will he want to go for a third term? Our national teams are not performing well,” Palmer stated on Asempa FM.
Palmer’s criticism reflects growing dissatisfaction among football stakeholders regarding the current state of the game in Ghana.
