Vision FC head coach Nana Kweku Agyemang has described his side’s emphatic 3-1 win over Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko as the biggest triumph of his coaching career, marking a memorable end to their maiden Ghana Premier League campaign.

The debutants stunned the Porcupine Warriors on the final day of the 2024/25 season at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex, securing an 11th-place finish in their first top-flight appearance.

Speaking after the match, a jubilant Agyemang revealed that the approach to the high-profile clash was more mental than tactical, crediting his players for their composure and execution on the day.

“It’s a good and resounding victory for the club. At the top level, this is my biggest win. In the Ghana Premier League, this is the biggest win for me. It’s fantastic,” he told reporters.

The coach further praised his team’s mental strength and discipline, especially against a seasoned side like Kotoko, managed by veteran tactician Abdul Karim Zito.

For the boys to go onto the battlefield and play the way they did with such courage and precision, I’m very happy as a coach. And to beat not just Kotoko but also a top coach like Karim Zito makes it even more special,” Agyemang added.

Vision FC’s debut season has been marked by flashes of brilliance, and Sunday’s result served as a fitting conclusion to what has been a steady rise for the Tema-based outfit.

With survival secured and confidence running high, Coach Agyemang and his team will now set their sights on building a stronger side for the 2025/26 season.
