Ghana international midfielder Thomas Partey has opened up about the principles that have shaped his career, as he approaches the conclusion of his time with English Premier League side Arsenal.

Partey, 31, is set to become a free agent at the end of June 2025, following the expiration of his contract with the North London club. In an exclusive interview with 3Sports, the experienced midfielder reflected on the values of loyalty, gratitude, and respect—traits he says have been central to his football journey.

“I’m always looking out for the people who helped me,” Partey shared. “I never look down on them, and my mentality is that if someone is able to help you, you should be able to help them back.”

The former Atlético Madrid man has endured an injury-plagued spell in recent seasons but remains a respected figure in the Black Stars setup and among Ghanaian football fans. Despite uncertainty surrounding his club future, Partey emphasized that his focus has always been on staying grounded and remembering those who played a role in his rise to stardom.
