Bibiani GoldStars were officially crowned 2024/25 Ghana Premier League champions on Saturday following a goalless draw against Medeama SC in their coronation match at the Dun’s Park in Bibiani.
The celebratory encounter, witnessed by thousands of jubilant supporters, marked the climax of a groundbreaking season for the Bibiani-based club, who had already secured the title last weekend with a dominant 4-0 win over Accra Lions.
Despite the stalemate on the pitch, the mood at Dun’s Park was anything but dull. Fans, draped in GoldStars colours, packed the stands in anticipation of witnessing their club’s first-ever Premier League trophy presentation.
