Ghana Basketball Association General Secretary Rafiq Arthur has expressed optimism about the nation’s chances of securing silverware at the ongoing African School Games in Algeria.

Team Ghana’s Basketball 3×3 side experienced mixed results over their opening fixtures but secured a spot in the quarterfinals.

On Day One, Ghana started strongly with a 13-7 victory over Uganda, showing composure and teamwork to open their campaign on a winning note.

However, on Day Two, Ghana fell to Rwanda with a 9-22 defeat. Despite the setback, their earlier win was enough to guarantee progression to the knockout stage.
