Former President of the Ghana Football Association, Kwesi Nyantakyi says the technical team of the Black Stars needs a psychologist.

Otto Addo failed to qualify the Black Stars of Ghana to the African Cup of Nations for the first time in 20 years after failing to win a single game in the AFCON qualifiers.

This has sparked concerns among Ghanaians with many calling for the sack of Otto Addo ahead of the World Cup qualifiers in March.

According to Kwesi Nyantakyi, one of the solutions for Ghana’s recent performances is to hire the services of a psychologist who will work on the technical team.

“I think that apart from the players, Otto Addo and the technical team needs a psychologist. The day we played against Niger in Accra, Otto Addo stormed the pitch after we scored a consolation goal. I saw that there is a psychological problem there. What triggered him to storm the pitch is a psychological problem.” He told Asempa FM.

Ghana will play against Chad and Madagascar in March in the World Cup qualifiers.
