Kwame Opoku Promises More Goals for Asante Kotoko

Asante Kotoko forward Kwame Opoku has vowed to deliver more goals as the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League season progresses.

The prolific striker rejoined the Porcupine Warriors on a two-and-a-half-year deal after successful spells in Algeria and Morocco.

Since his return, Opoku has netted five goals in four matches, showcasing his goal-scoring prowess.

Speaking to Asempa FM, Opoku expressed confidence in his form and assured fans of even better performances as the season advances.

“There is more to come from me. It is just the beginning,” Opoku said. “I have so far scored five goals in four games, and as the season goes on, my fitness level will improve.”

Opoku’s return has significantly boosted Asante Kotoko’s attacking options, making him a key figure in their title ambitions.

The Porcupine Warriors wrapped up the first round of the league in third place, amassing 31 points.
