Nsoatreman FC Withdraws from 2024/2025 Ghana Premier League Over Safety Concerns
Nsoatreman FC has officially announced its withdrawal from the ongoing 2024/2025 Ghana Premier League, citing serious concerns over the security and safety of its players.
The club conveyed this decision in a letter addressed to the Ghana Football Association (GFA) .
According to Nsoatreman FC, the decision to pull out of the league was prompted by recent events involving their matches against Kumasi Asante Kotoko and FC Samartex. While the club did not provide specific details on the incidents, it confirmed that official complaints had already been submitted to the GFA.
“We are forced to take this decision due to recent events involving our matches with Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Samatex FC, which we officially wrote to your high office,” the club stated.
Nsoatreman FC emphasized that it can no longer guarantee the safety of its players, leaving management and the board of directors with no alternative but to withdraw from the league.
“In light of this, we can no longer guarantee the safety of our players. Therefore, management and the board of directors are left with no choice but to prioritize the safety and security of our players by withdrawing from the league.”

This decision could have significant implications for the Ghana Premier League, with Nsoatreman FC’s withdrawal potentially affecting the league’s standings, fixtures, and competitive structure.
