National Sports Federations to Embark on Sightseeing Visit to Amasaman OlympAfrica Facility Project on the 8th March 2025.
The GOC national sports federations are set to undertake a special sightseeing visit to the OlympAfrica Facility Project in Amasaman dated 3rd March, 2025.
This visit is aimed at assessing the progress of the facility, which is expected to play a crucial role in grassroots sports development in Ghana.
The OlympAfrica project, an initiative supported by the OlympAfrica Foundation and the GOC, is designed to provide young athletes with access to training facilities. The site at Amasaman is envisioned as a hub for talent development, offering opportunities for athletes across various disciplines to train and compete at an elite level.
The representatives from national sports federations, and key development partners. During the visit, stakeholders will inspect the ongoing construction, and discuss strategies to ensure the timely completion and effective utilization of the facility.
Speaking ahead of the visit, he emphasized the importance of the OlympAfrica project in the country’s sports development agenda.
