Vision FC head coach Nana Agyemang is optimistic about ending his side’s disappointing away record as they gear up to face Medeama SC in a crucial Matchday 30 Ghana Premier League fixture.

The match is set for 6:00 PM GMT at the TNA Park in Tarkwa, where Medeama have been formidable all season. However, Agyemang remains confident that his team, buoyed by last weekend’s 2-0 home victory over league leaders Bibiani Gold Stars, can rise to the occasion.

“We are going to try to carry along that motivation [from beating Gold Stars] to go and play this away game,” the Vision FC boss told the club’s media team.

He acknowledged the challenge ahead, especially given Medeama’s strength at home, but insisted his team would not be easy opponents.

“Our season away games have not been that great, but the idea is to go there and change it. We are expecting a very difficult game, but we are also very difficult to play against, so we are going out there to do our best,” he added.

Vision FC currently sit 13th on the league table and are fighting to stay above the relegation zone. A positive result in Tarkwa would be a massive boost to their survival hopes.

Medeama, meanwhile, are also seeking consistency as the season nears its climax, making Sunday’s clash a key battle for both sides.
