Asante Kotoko head coach, Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum, has voiced his disappointment over the low turnout of supporters at the team’s matches despite their outstanding performance in the ongoing Ghana Premier League.

The Porcupine Warriors are currently dominating the league table with 34 points, boasting an impressive record of 10 wins, 4 draws, and 4 losses.

However, the poor attendance at their games has been a source of concern for the coach and the players.

“I think it’s not pleasant, it doesn’t make us feel happy. We are playing some good football, we are getting them the results, but they are not coming,” Dr. Ogum said.

“For me, I cannot tell the reasons why they are not coming. I’m also appealing to them, they should try that on match days, they come in their numbers to come and support us,” he added.

Dr. Ogum emphasized that the players are motivated by the presence and cheers of their supporters, which serve as a driving force for their performances on the pitch.
