Kwasi Appiah Promises Full Support for Coach Ogum in transfer market
Asante Kotoko’s Head of Sporting Affairs, Kwasi Appiah, has assured fans that the club is ready to back Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum with the necessary resources to improve the team’s performance in the upcoming transfer window of the Ghana Premier League.
Asante Kotoko’s season so far has not been the best in terms of performance and good results. The team currently sits 7th on the GPL log with 18 points.
In an interview with Asempa FM, Appiah acknowledged the challenges the club faced in the first round due to limited player options and injuries.
“We did not get a lot of players for the first round,” Appiah said. “At some point, we had issues with selection because of injuries.”
Appiah emphasized management’s commitment to addressing the team’s needs based on the coach’s recommendations.
“If the coach (Prosper Ogum) submits what he needs, we will support him,” he added.
Meanwhile, the Porcupine Warriors will lock horns with Hearts of Oak this Sunday at the Baba Yara sports stadium for week 13 of the Ghana Premier League.
