FA Cup: Frimpong Manso Targets Final Spot as Nations FC Brace for Aduana Test
Nations FC head coach Frimpong Manso has set his sights firmly on a place in the MTN FA Cup final, acknowledging the challenge ahead while backing his side to rise to the occasion against Aduana FC.
The two teams are set to clash in a high-stakes semi-final showdown, with Manso anticipating a fiercely contested encounter given Aduana’s reputation for intensity and attacking intent.
Despite the expected pressure, the Nations FC boss remains optimistic, insisting his players are ready to respond and deliver when it matters most.
“We expect a difficult game, but we are hoping to win this game too…..It will be like the league games. When we played them at home, they came all out, and we won. This will be on a neutral group. We are very determined to move on to the final,” Manso told Nations FC TV.
Manso pointed to previous meetings between the sides as a reference, noting that his team has already shown it can handle Aduana’s approach. However, he acknowledged that the semi-final setting, particularly at a neutral venue, presents a different test altogether.
The fixture is scheduled for Friday, April 17 at the Swedru Sports Stadium, with kickoff set for 3 pm. Both sides will be chasing a place in the final, setting the stage for what promises to be a tightly fought contest with little margin for error.
