Hearts of Oak head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani has reiterated his belief in the club’s long-term project, despite a difficult run of form that has seen the Phobians drop to sixth place after securing just one victory in their last five Ghana Premier League matches.

Dramani, who has consistently emphasized development and structure since taking charge, says the team is still laying the foundation for the level of performance he envisions.

“It is just the first phase of everything that we are doing. In terms of putting in (desirable) performance,” he explained, highlighting that the process is still at an early and formative stage.

The coach stressed the importance of establishing a recognizable and unified philosophy that will guide the club’s progress.

“But I think one key aspect to emphasize on in terms of performance is that we need to have a clear identity and direction which tells who we are and which tells where we want to go,” he stated.

Dramani added that alignment across all levels of the club is vital if Hearts of Oak are to fully implement their game model.

“In going about our style of play (hopefully) everybody aligns with this. Even our supporters, management,” he noted.

The Phobians are preparing to host Vision FC at the University of Ghana Stadium on Saturday—marking their first home appearance at the new venue since moving from the Accra Sports Stadium. Their record at their former home has been disappointing, with just one win from five matches, earning them only six points—making them the second-worst home performers in the league so far.

Kickoff for Saturday’s encounter is scheduled for 4:00 PM, as Hearts look to turn their philosophy into positive results.
