Kotoko’s Samba O’Neil Promises win over Hearts

Asante Kotoko defender Gilbalni O’Neil Ndongani Samba has expressed confidence in his team’s readiness ahead of the much-anticipated Super Clash against Hearts of Oak on Sunday.

Speaking to the media, the defender assured fans that the team is focused and determined to secure victory.

“We are focused and ready to play the match on Sunday. It’s a big match, but we are not under pressure. It’s normal to feel pressure, but for us, it’s a positive pressure,” Samba stated.

Samba highlighted his personal ambition to win every game, referencing the team’s recent success in the Democracy Cup as motivation.

“For me, I always want to win. Just as we did in the Democracy Cup, we will win on Sunday,” he said confidently.

The defender also took the opportunity to rally Kotoko supporters to back the team wholeheartedly.

“I will plead with our fans to continue supporting the team, and I promise, we are going to make it easy on Sunday,” Samba concluded.

Samba won the Man of the Match Award against Hearts of Oak in the Democracy Cup. The Congolese has made nine appearances for the Porcupines this season.
