Ghanaian international Jeffrey Schlupp has officially joined Norwich City on a free transfer, marking the beginning of a new chapter in his career in the English Championship.

The 32-year-old defender has signed a one-year contract with the Canaries and will wear the number 27 shirt at Carrow Road.

“Jeffrey Schlupp signs for Norwich City,” the club announced in a statement confirming his arrival. The deal comes after the Ghanaian parted ways with Crystal Palace earlier this summer.

Schlupp brings a wealth of experience to Norwich, having spent over a decade in the Premier League with Leicester City and Crystal Palace.

He is a graduate of the Leicester City academy and made more than 150 appearances for the Foxes, playing a key role in their historic 2015/16 Premier League title-winning season.

In 2017, Schlupp made the move to Crystal Palace, where he established himself as a dependable and versatile squad member over eight seasons. He also enjoyed a recent loan spell at Celtic, contributing to their Scottish Premiership triumph.

Now at Norwich, Schlupp is expected to add leadership, versatility, and a winning mentality to a side determined to secure promotion back to the Premier League.
