“I am very overwhelmed on my return to Asante Kotoko” – Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum reacts after unveiling

Asante Kotoko SC has officially unveiled Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum as new manager ahead of 2023-24 BetPawa Premier League.

On Monday, August 7 2023 the Interim Management Committee (IMC) outdoored the Ghanaian tactician who will guide the outfit for the upcoming seasons. Though, duration of contract signed isn’t communicated but Nkrataasem.com understands it’s a long-term deal.

He was unveiled at the Kumasi Baba Yara Sports Stadium Conference room, where he spoke to the media.

In the speech, the gaffer expressed how delighted he is returning to the outfit. Ogum first arrived at Kotoko in 2021-22 league season where he continued to clinch the club’s 25th league title same season before departure.

“I am overly excited and overwhelmed by this opportunity and nothing else comes closer, probably the day I got married. But I have to say that I am excited to be here again”

The former WAFA SC boss is currently working in hand with former Black Stars head coach James Kwesi Appiah as technical director.
