Hearts of Oak midfielder Hassan Husein expressed his delight after being named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) in his team’s hard-fought 1-0 victory over Legon Cities in the Ghana Premier League.

Speaking to the media after the match, the  midfielder shared insights into the team’s performance and the adjustments that led to their success.

“I feel very good; it was a very nice game, though in the first half, we didn’t get the game as we wanted. When we got to the dressing room, our coach talked a lot about the first half,” Husein explained.

“We came back into the game, corrected our mistakes, and that helped us to carry the three points,” he added.

This marks Husein’s third MVP award of the 2024/25 season, underscoring his consistency and influence in the Phobians’ midfield.

The crucial victory propelled Hearts of Oak into second place on the league table with 28 points, keeping them firmly in contention for the title.
