Medeama SC head coach Ibrahim Tanko has been shortlisted for the Coach of the Month award for January, facing strong competition from Dreams FC’s Winfred Dormon, Bechem United’s Kobina Amissah, and FC Samartex’s Christopher Ennin.

Tanko enjoyed an impressive month on the touchline, steering Medeama to four wins in five league matches and building a commanding seven-point cushion at the top of the Ghana Premier League standings. His side’s consistency and attacking efficiency have underlined their title credentials.

Bechem United’s Kobina Amissah also impressed in January, guiding his team to three victories, including a notable win over reigning champions and title contenders Bibiani Gold Stars. His tactical approach helped Bechem maintain competitiveness against some of the league’s toughest opponents.

Dreams FC boss Winfred Dormon earned his nomination after keeping his side unbeaten throughout the month, picking up two wins in five games and climbing into mid-table. His steady hand has stabilised the Dawu-based club after an inconsistent start to the season.

FC Samartex coach Christopher Ennin completes the shortlist following a strong run that saw his team go unbeaten in January, registering three wins from four outings and continuing their push up the table.
