Ghana U15 Girls triumphed in the WAFU B African Schools Football Championship by defeating Benin 1-0 in a thrilling final on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at the FeniFoot Technical Centre in Niamey, Niger.
The four-day tournament brought together some of the best young talents in the region, showcasing their skills in a high-energy competition. Teams from Ghana, Benin, Côte d’Ivoire, Niger, and Burkina Faso competed for the coveted title.
In the closely contested final, Ghana edged out their Beninese counterparts with a second-half goal from Daniela Abass. Her decisive strike sealed the victory for the young Ghanaian side, who displayed remarkable teamwork and resilience throughout the competition.
