Bechem United head coach Kobina Amissah has attributed his side’s strong home performances in the Ghana Premier League to the unwavering backing of their supporters, describing the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Stadium as a driving force behind recent results.

The Hunters have turned their home ground into a difficult venue for opponents, remaining unbeaten since mid-December. Their run includes consecutive victories over Swedru All Blacks, Berekum Chelsea, Bibiani Gold Stars, Heart of Lions, and Young Apostles, underlining a remarkable turnaround in form.

Amissah believes the atmosphere created by the Bechem faithful has been instrumental in inspiring his players, while also pointing to tactical adjustments made for home fixtures.

“We are always motivated by our numerous fans who troop to the stadium. When they cheer on the players, it gingers them to fight hard to win the game. We have also adopted certain tactical approach that is different from home and different from away. That is what is doing the trick for us,” the coach told Bechem United TV.

Despite their dominance at home, Bechem United have struggled on the road, managing just two points from 10 away matches this season. The contrast has left the Hunters relying heavily on home results to stay competitive in the league.

Amissah and his squad will be aiming to address their away woes when they travel to face Vision FC in their Matchday 23 encounter next weekend, hoping to secure a first victory on the road and balance their impressive home campaign.
