Ghana striker Antoine Semenyo on target in Bournemouth defeat to Liverpool

On Saturday, AFC Bournemouth lost 3-1 to Liverpool FC in the 2023-24 English Premier league week 2 encounter. Ghana international Antoine Semenyo was on target in their away defeat.

Antoine Semenyo scored the only consolation goal for his side, after opening his scoring account with Bournemouth in the 2023/24 Premier League season.

In just three minutes of the encounter, the 23-year-old slammed home the opening goal having placed in a beautiful pass from Dominic Solanke.

Liverpool FC were reduced to ten men when new addition Alexis McAllister was sent off in the 58th minute, Portugal attacker Diogo Jota tripled the Reds’ goal to make the score 3-1 on the 61st minute.

Winger David Brooks, replaced Semenyo in the 76th minute as Bournemouth lost 3-1.
