Full House in Vienna as Black Stars Step Up Austria Preparations
Black Stars intensified preparations for their upcoming international friendly after assembling a full squad during Tuesday’s training session in Vienna.
All 25 invited players were present, creating a lively and highly competitive environment as the team builds momentum ahead of Friday’s clash against Austria.
Late arrivals Thomas Partey, Ransford Yeboah Königsdörffer, Kojo Oppong Peprah, and Alexander Djiku all joined their teammates, adding depth and experience across key areas of the pitch. Partey and Djiku, in particular, bring leadership to the group following their roles in securing Ghana’s qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Under the guidance of head coach Otto Addo, the team engaged in structured tactical drills and ball work, with players pushing hard to impress and earn selection for the upcoming fixture.
The session saw full participation across all departments, highlighting the squad’s unity and shared focus as they fine-tune strategies for the test ahead.
Ghana will continue preparations over the next two days before taking on Austria on March 27, a match expected to provide a strong assessment of the team’s readiness ahead of future competitive assignments, including the World Cup.
