Dogo Yakubu Confident of Making His Mark After Asante Kotoko Switch
Newly signed striker Dogo Yakubu has expressed strong belief in his ability to thrive at Asante Kotoko following his move to the Kumasi-based club.
The 21-year-old attacker officially sealed his transfer on Monday, January 12, after successfully completing his medical examination, paving the way for the next chapter of his career with the Ghana Premier League giants.
Kotoko confirmed the deal in a statement released on their official platforms, announcing that the promising forward has committed his future to the club on a three-and-a-half-year contract.
Speaking shortly after putting pen to paper, Dogo struck a confident tone about his prospects in the famous red jersey.
“I’m still young, and I believe I have a huge chance here to make a name for myself,” he said.
The former Midcity Football Academy forward also highlighted the significance of the move and his readiness to rise to the challenge.
