Malik Jabir elated with Kotoko’s win over Future Stars

Asante Kotoko’s new technical director, Malik Jabir, has expressed satisfaction with his team’s performance following their 2-0 victory over  Future Stars in the MTN FA Cup.

The victory at the Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday marked a promising start for Jabir, a club legend, who recently took over the technical director role from Kwesi Appiah.

Speaking after the match, Jabir praised the players for their determination and resilience, especially given the short time he has had to work with them.

“I’m happy to start on a winning note. I will pray and work hard so we can maintain momentum this season. I’m currently monitoring the players so with time I can help the coach with my input.” He said.

The Porcupine Warriors will lock horns with their bitterest rivals Hearts of Oak next in the Ghana Premier League.
