Hearts of Oak head coach Didi Dramani has assured fans that the squad has mentally reset following last Sunday’s narrow loss to rivals Asante Kotoko in the Ghana Premier League.

The Phobians fell 1-0 in the Week 9 fixture at the Accra Sports Stadium, a result that prevented them from securing valuable points in their early-season campaign. Despite the disappointment, Dramani believes the setback has already been converted into motivation and insight.

Speaking ahead of the club’s upcoming Week 10 encounter against Swedru All Blacks, the Hearts boss emphasised that the team has extracted key learnings from the derby defeat.
“The result against Kotoko was not the outcome we envisaged, but we have taken it in good faith, and we have taken the learning part and the cues going forward. We need to continuously improve in some aspects of the game,” he explained.

Dramani further stressed that Hearts are committed to moving forward with renewed focus.
“The Super Clash is gone, and we will work harder to come out with better outcomes in our subsequent games,” he told Hearts TV.

Hearts of Oak will face Swedru All Blacks next as they aim to bounce back and regain momentum in the 2025/26 league season.
