Hosts Athletico FC Abidjan were in action against Morocco’s Sporting Club Casablanca in Korhogo while South Africa’s Mamelodi Sundowns also engaged JKT Queens of Tanzania.

The Ivorian side looked certain to pick up their first three points of the competition after taking a first-half lead in their game against Casablanca through Esperance Agbo.

However, the visitors got the equaliser late in the game as N’Guessan Nadege Koffi scored nine minutes away from full time to tie the game.
