Boxing: John Laryea knocks out Alexander Mejia in first round

Ghanaian boxer, John Laryea defeated Nicaraguan boxer Alexander Mejia at the Caribe Royal in the United States of America via a unanimous decision.

Popularly known as the Expensive Boxer, John Laryea fought his first international bought and quickly knocked out his opponent just in the first round.

The WBO African featherweight champion is determined to raise the flag of Ghana high and has started on a good note as he remains undefeated.

The 22-year-old boxer from Bukom remains undefeated in 15 fights with one draw and is hoping to win a world title for Ghana.
