Black Stars Release Team Program Ahead of Chad and Mali World Cup Qualifiers
The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has unveiled the official team program for the Black Stars as they prepare for their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Mali in September.
Ghana, who top Group I with 15 points, will first travel to NāDjamena to face Chad on Thursday, September 4, before returning to Accra to host Mali on Monday, September 8, 2025.
According to the GFA outline, players are expected to arrive in camp between Sunday, August 31 and Monday, September 1. The team will hold its first training session on Monday, September 1 at the Accra Sports Stadium, with the session open to both the media and public.
Preparations will continue on Tuesday, September 2, with a closed training session at the Accra Sports Stadium before the team departs for Chad. Upon arrival, Otto Addoās men will have their final pre-match training (MD-1 session) on Wednesday, September 3 in NāDjamena.

Following the match against Chad, the Black Stars will return to Accra on Friday, September 5 for a recovery session, which will once again be open to the media and public. Closed training sessions will follow on Saturday, September 6, before the teamās final pre-match build-up on Sunday, September 7, where the first 15 minutes of training will be open to the press.
The second match of the window comes on Monday, September 8, when Ghana host Mali at the Accra Sports Stadium in a highly-anticipated clash that could prove decisive in the qualification campaign.
Ghana will be seeking to maintain their top spot in Group I as they edge closer to qualification for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the USA, Mexico, and Canada.
