Hearts of Oak head coach Mas-Ud Didi Dramani has downplayed the impact of missing players ahead of his side’s Ghana Premier League clash against Dreams FC, insisting that collective strength, not individual availability, will define their approach.

Speaking before the encounter, Dramani made it clear that his focus remains on the group at his disposal rather than those ruled out through suspension or injury.

“The key aspect is that we have a consolidated team, and so we are a team,” he said. “Whether you like it or not, these two players will not be eligible. And so once players are not eligible, we try not to even focus on them.”

The Hearts boss noted that his side has already learned to cope with setbacks this season, pointing to previous periods when injuries tested the squad’s depth.

“Apart from these two, there are still others that are also not available because of injuries. And then we have survived all this period,” he explained, highlighting the resilience built within the group.

Dramani also addressed the absence of forward Mawuli Wayo, offering guidance rather than criticism and emphasizing the importance of maturity at the highest level.

“I think that it’s a very short cut, but I think that Mawuli will learn from that. Out of excitement, you need to be very modest so that you don’t lose your head. Because he’s an important person in our setup,” he added.

With discipline, structure, and belief in his squad, Dramani will look to guide the Phobians through another demanding test as they aim to protect their home form and keep pace in the title race on Friday.
