Ghana’s U-17 side, the Black Starlets, will continue their build-up to the 2026 CAF U-17 Africa Cup of Nations with a pair of friendly matches slated for Wednesday at the Accra Sports Stadium.

The day’s programme will see the Starlets open proceedings against Attram De Visser at 8:00 am before returning to the pitch to face Golden Kick FC at 10:00 am, a demanding double-header designed to push the squad physically and tactically.

The friendly fixtures are part of a carefully structured preparation plan by the technical team, focused on improving match sharpness, testing tactical approaches and evaluating player partnerships ahead of the continental showpiece.

In recent weeks, the Starlets have engaged in a series of warm-up games against local opposition, including True Democracy FC, Na God FC, Port City FC and Semper Fi FC, as coaches continue to fine-tune the squad.

Wednesday’s encounters are expected to provide further insight into the team’s progress while offering crucial game time as Ghana’s young prospects gear up for their return to the U-17 AFCON stage in 2026.
