Black Damsels Touch Down in Zimbabwe for CAF African Schools Championship Title Defence
Ghana’s U-15 girls team, the Black Damsels, have arrived in Harare ahead of the continental phase of the CAF African Schools Football Championship.
A 27-member contingent, comprising 20 players and seven officials, made the journey as Ghana prepares to compete against some of the best school teams across Africa.
The team heads into the tournament with strong belief, having enjoyed success in the previous edition where they lifted the trophy on home soil. That triumph has raised expectations as they aim to replicate their achievement on the continental stage.

The CAF African Schools Football Championship continues to establish itself as a vital platform for youth development, blending competitive football with education while providing young players with exposure at the highest level within the continent.
With confidence high and national pride at stake, the Black Damsels will be focused on delivering another impressive campaign as they seek to defend their crown and further highlight Ghana’s growing reputation in grassroots football development.
