BetPawa Premier League winner for 2023-24 to pocket GHC 500,000
With 17-days to start of 2023-24 BetPawa Premier League, the organisers of the league alongside the Ghana Football Association has officially launched the new season.
This was done on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at the Eastern Premier Hotel in Koforidua.
In attendance was the some top officials of the Association including GFA President Kurt Edwin Simeon-Okraku, Vice President Mark Addo, Youth and Sports Minister Mustapha Ussif (Hon.), Executive Council Members of the GFA, Presidents, Chief Executive Officers.
Top officials of the 18 Premier League Clubs and other invited Guests were present to grace the launching.
The 2023/24 betPawa Premier League season, will however, commence on the weekend of Friday, September 15, through to Monday, September 18, 2023.
Winner of the top-flight, will take home Gh 500,000 whiles the runner-up will get Gh 200,000.
According to the GFA, a total of 1,150,000 Ghana Cedis will be shared among the top 10 clubs of the season.
