betPawa GPL: Week 2 Preview

The betPawa Ghana Premier League continue this weekend at the various premier league centers. Champions, Asante Kotoko will not be in action this week due to their CAF Champions League game with RC Kadiogo.

The second week of the betPawa Ghana Premier league will see Nsoatreman FC make their debut in the Ghana Premier League. They will take on Bibiani Goldstars who lost their first game against Dreams FC at home. Goldstars have only won one away game since their debut in the GPL, Accra Lions will host Karela United at the Accra Sports Stadium on Saturday. In their last two meetings, both clubs have won a game.

Dreams FC and Kotoku Royals will hope to continue their winning streaks from week one when they lock horns with each other in Dawu. At the Akoon Park in Tarkwa, Medeama will host Real Tamale United. Medeama beat Legon Cities 1-0 in week one while RTU drew with Samrtex 1996. However, RTU are winless against Medeama in their last two games. Debutants, Tamale Cities will welcome Legon Cities to the Aliu Mahama stadium. Legon Cities lost their week 1 game to Medeama while Tamale Cities lost to Karela United.

Aduana Stars will hope to win against King Faisal who lost their first game to Berekum Chelsea, Aduana Stars triumphed over Hearts in week 1. The biggest game of the weekend comes off at the Accra Sports stadium where Hearts of Oak host their city rivals Accra Great Olympics in the GA Mantse derby. Hearts of Oak lost their first game to Aduana Stars 1-0 in Dormaa while Olympics beat Bechem United 1-0. The Phobians are winless in their last four matches against Accra Great Olympics: losing three and drawing one in the process. Samartex will also play against Berekum Chelsea.
