Bechem United have officially strengthened their squad with the acquisition of former Manchester City U23 forward Aminu Mohammed, as they prepare for the upcoming 2025/26 Ghana Premier League season.

The club confirmed the signing on social media, sharing their excitement with a welcome post that read:
“New Signing Alert! AMINU MOHAMMED is officially a Hunter!”

Aminu Mohammed, once considered one of Ghana’s most promising young talents, rose to prominence as part of the Black Starlets team that featured at the FIFA U-17 World Cup. His performances at youth level earned him a high-profile move to English Premier League side Manchester City, where he joined their U23 squad, gaining vital development and exposure in Europe.

Now back in Ghana, the winger is expected to play a pivotal role for the Hunters with his trademark speed and offensive flair.

“With his pace, power and European flair, Aminu is set to bring flair, creativity and goals to our frontline,” the club added in their official statement.

This move marks a fresh chapter in the 23-year-old’s career, offering him a platform to rediscover his form and fulfil the potential that once made him a standout name among Ghana’s youth ranks.

For Bechem United, the signing represents a significant boost to their attacking options as they aim to improve on their performance from last season and challenge for honours in both the league and FA Cup.
