ATTF Vice President Mawuko Afadzinu Champions Collaboration at ITTF Summit in Doha

Mr. Mawuko Afadzinu, Executive Vice President of Marketing for the African Table Tennis Federation (ATTF), delivered a compelling keynote address at the ongoing International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) Summit in Doha, Qatar, calling for enhanced collaboration and knowledge sharing within the global table tennis community.

Addressing a gathering of over 200 delegates from 150 countries, Mr. Afadzinu, who also serves as the Chairman of the ITTF Sustainability Committee, underscored the importance of creating a vibrant and dynamic platform that fosters deeper partnerships, innovative ideas, and a collective vision for the future of table tennis.

The ITTF Summit in Doha has brought together an influential cross-section of the sport’s ecosystem, including member associations, ITTF executives, key industry stakeholders, and business leaders. The event provides a critical platform for strategic discussions and decision-making on the future direction of the sport.

Running from May 23 to May 27, the summit features a series of high-level activities including the Annual General Meeting, sessions of the ITTF Executive Board and Council, a finance forum, and development workshops. One of the highlights of the summit is the election of the ITTF President and Executive Vice Presidents, along with the selection of host cities for the ITTF World Championships Finals in 2027, 2028, and 2029.

As the summit progresses, stakeholders remain hopeful that the outcomes will strengthen global cooperation and open new pathways for the development and promotion of table tennis across all continents.
