Albert Amoah lauds performance of Osei Assibey

Asante Kotoko striker Albert Amoah has shared insights into his experience with Hearts of Oak defender Kevin Osei Assibey during the fiercely contested clash.

Amoah scored the only goal of the game in added time when a lapse in communication between Hearts’ defender Kelvin Osei Asibey and goalkeeper Benjamin Asare handed Amoah the perfect opportunity.

The forward capitalized on the error, slotting the ball into the net and sparking wild celebrations among the home supporters.

Speaking to the media after the game, Amoah lauded the performance of Hearts defender Kevin Osei Asibey, who gave him a difficult time throughout the match.

“He (Kevin Osei Asibey) is a very strong person, and he gave me a very tough time in the game,” Amoah admitted.

Albert Amoah’s seventh goal of the season  have now moved Kotoko up on the league log to the 6th position with 21 points while Hearts of Oak descended to the 7th position
