Al Hilal Complete Signing of Ghana Midfielder Salim Adams on Four-Year Deal
Sudanese powerhouse Al Hilal SC have strengthened their midfield with the signing of Ghanaian midfielder Salim Adams from Ghana Premier League champions Medeama SC.
The Sudanese club officially confirmed the transfer on Wednesday, bringing an end to speculation surrounding the future of the 24-year-old after reports linked him with a move away from Tarkwa.
Adams joins Al Hilal on a long-term contract after completing a standout season with Medeama, where he played a pivotal role in the club’s successful Ghana Premier League title-winning campaign.
In announcing the transfer, Al Hilal welcomed the Ghanaian midfielder and expressed confidence in his ability to contribute to the team’s ambitions.
“Ghanaian midfielder Salem Adams, 24, has joined the ranks of Sudan’s giant on a four-year contract.
“Everyone at our club welcomes you, Adams, and wishes you every success,” the club posted in a statement on Facebook.
The transfer follows an exceptional 2025/26 campaign for Adams, who established himself as one of Medeama’s most influential players.
His energetic displays, composure in midfield and ability to dictate play helped drive the Mauve and Yellow to the league title, earning widespread recognition as one of the club’s standout performers throughout the season.
Before joining Medeama, Adams also featured for Hearts of Oak, where he developed into one of the country’s promising midfield talents.
His move to Al Hilal represents a significant step in his career, offering him the opportunity to compete in continental competitions and challenge for major honours with one of Africa’s most successful clubs.
Al Hilal will be hoping Adams’ quality and experience strengthen their midfield as they prepare for domestic competition and another campaign in African club football.
For the Ghanaian midfielder, the transfer marks the beginning of a new chapter as he embarks on his first experience outside Ghana, aiming to make an immediate impact with the Sudanese giants.
