Aduana FC Reinforce Title Push With Signing of Experienced Defender Samuel Osei Kuffour
Aduana FC have taken a decisive step to bolster their squad depth after confirming the acquisition of seasoned centre-back Samuel Osei Kuffour from Nations FC on a long-term contract.
The Dormaa-based club made the announcement via their official social media platforms, underlining their intent to strengthen key areas as the title race intensifies.
“We are pleased to announce the signing of centre back Samuel Osei Kuffour from Nations FC. The defender joins the club on a long-term deal as we continue to strengthen the squad,” the club said in a statement.
Osei Kuffour arrives with a wealth of top-flight experience, having previously featured prominently for Bechem United before moving on to Nations FC. Since joining the Sky Blues ahead of last season, the defender has been a model of consistency, making 29 league appearances in his first campaign and already featuring nine times this term.
Despite already boasting one of the league’s most reliable defensive units, Aduana have moved to add further steel and leadership at the back as they chase domestic glory.
Currently sitting third on the Ghana Premier League table with 32 points, the ‘Ogya’ lads see Osei Kuffour as a key addition who can provide both quality and competition within the squad.
The defender could be thrown straight into action this weekend, with a potential debut lined up against his former side, Nations FC, in what promises to be a compelling reunion.
