FIFA has officially confirmed that the Accra Sports Stadium will host Ghana’s crucial 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Chad. The fixture is set for Friday, March 21, 2025, with kickoff scheduled for 19:00 GMT.
The Black Stars are currently second in Group I with nine points from four matches, sitting level with group leaders Comoros. Ghana’s qualification journey has seen mixed results, with three wins and one defeat.
Ghana started their campaign with a 1-0 victory over Madagascar but stumbled in their second match, suffering a loss to Comoros. However, they bounced back with back-to-back victories over Mali and the Central African Republic in June 2024, reigniting their qualification hopes.
