Head coach of Vision FC, Nana Kwaku Agyemang, has voiced his disappointment after his side were held to a 0-0 draw by Asante Kotoko in their outstanding Ghana Premier League fixture on Wednesday afternoon.

The keenly contested encounter at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex saw both sides fail to capitalize on their opportunities, with Vision FC producing a disciplined display but lacking the finishing touch to secure a famous win over the Porcupine Warriors.

Speaking after the game, Coach Agyemang expressed his frustration, insisting that his team had done enough to deserve all three points.

“It’s a big disappointing draw. Kotoko are always the big tree in matches like this, but we were ready to be the small lads and pick all points at stake. Throughout the game, we actually reduced Kotoko to zero chance. We had two half chances and two clear chances but we couldn’t utilize it. So it’s a huge disappointing draw,” he said.

Despite sharing the spoils, Agyemang praised his players for their work rate and tactical discipline, noting that their ability to neutralize Kotoko’s attack reflected the team’s growing maturity.

The draw leaves Vision FC in 10th position on the Ghana Premier League table with 12 points from nine matches, while Asante Kotoko remain 7th with 15 points after seven games.

Vision FC will now turn their attention to their next league fixture — a challenging away trip to Basake Holy Stars on Sunday, where they will aim to return to winning ways.
