Vision FC head coach, Nana Kwaku Agyemang, believes his side was tactically superior and deserved more than just a point after their 1-1 draw with Hearts of Oak in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

The thrilling Week 27 encounter took place at the Nii Adjei Kraku II Sports Complex in Tema Newtown, where both teams fought hard for maximum points.

Hearts of Oak took the lead in the 38th minute through defender Kelvin Osei Asibey, who capitalised on a set-piece opportunity.

However, Vision FC responded quickly after the restart, with Meschack Sowah Adjetey finishing off a well-worked move just three minutes into the second half to level the scores.

Speaking after the match, Coach Agyemang expressed disappointment at the result, but insisted that his team outplayed their more experienced opponents.

“We had a game plan and the game plan could have worked easily. We created more chances than Hearts of Oak. We should have taken our chances, but we didn’t,” he said.

He was also critical of Hearts’ approach, suggesting that they came into the match with a limited strategy.

“Hearts of Oak came into this game with only one game plan. We dominated the game, but unfortunately for us, we couldn’t utilize our chances,” Agyemang added.

Vision FC, who are fighting to avoid relegation, remain 14th on the league table with 30 points after 27 games. Hearts of Oak, with the draw, moved to sixth place on 41 points.
