Ibrahim Tanko believes Medeama SC are just one strong performance away from rediscovering their rhythm as they prepare for a crucial Ghana Premier League clash against Eleven Wonders.

The Tarkwa-based side head into the fixture on the back of a difficult run, having gone six league matches without a victory — a dip that has dented their title ambitions.

Despite the recent struggles, Tanko remains confident that his players are ready to respond, pointing to renewed energy and determination within the squad.

“We are preparing very well. We have put the last game behind us. You could see that the boys are really hungry for success,” he told Medi TV.

The Medeama coach is convinced that a single positive result could spark a turnaround in form and restore confidence within the team.

“We need one good game, and then we will come back to our old form. So definitely I hope this Friday will be the turning point for us.”

Friday’s Week 27 encounter at the TnA Stadium, scheduled for 3 pm, presents an opportunity for Medeama to reset their campaign and re-enter the title conversation.

With the race for the top spot tightening, Tanko and his players know that anything short of victory could further complicate their push for league glory.
