Salim Adams Urges Medeama to Shift Focus to Chelsea Clash
Midfielder Salim Adams has called on his Medeama SC teammates to quickly refocus following their crucial victory over Bibiani Gold Stars, as the title race intensifies.
Adams delivered a standout performance in Sunday’s encounter, scoring twice to secure a vital result that strengthens Medeama’s push for the Ghana Premier League crown. Despite the significance of the win, the former Accra Hearts of Oak midfielder has urged caution against complacency.
Speaking after the match, he emphasised the need for a consistent mindset, stressing that the team must immediately turn attention to their next challenge.
“So, since last week, I have been telling my teammates to treat every match as a final. This game is in the past now. Our next match is against Berekum Chelsea. We need to move on from this and think about that game,” Adams said.
Medeama now prepare to face Berekum Chelsea in a Week 32 fixture scheduled for Wednesday, May 6, a match that could have significant implications for the title race.
With momentum on their side, another positive result would move Medeama a step closer to securing the league trophy, but Adams’ message is clear—focus must remain firmly on the task ahead.
