Frimpong Manso rallies support for Otto Addo
Bibiani Goldstars head coach Frimpong Manso has asked Ghanaians to support Black Stars head coach Otto Addo.
The Black Stars are currently third in Group F of the AFCON qualifiers with just 2 points after four games and are on the verge of not qualifying if they don’t win even one of the games remaining.
However, the ex Black Stars players Stephen Frimpong Manso says though Ghana may not qualify for the AFCON, Otto Addo should be supported for the World Cup Qualifiers.
“I know Otto Addo wants to achieve something for the country, but right now, we must focus on supporting him for the World Cup qualifiers because at this point, we cannot qualify for the AFCON.
“I understand that people will complain if we miss out on the Afcon but what we he will need is support to do the right things and bring good players for the world cup qualifiers,” he told Asempa FM.
Ghana will clash with the Palancas Negras of Angola on Friday, November 15 in a penultimate tie of the qualifiers, before concluding their campaign against Niger in Accra on November 18.
