Salim Adams Reveals Medeama’s Bold Mindset After Kotoko Victory
Medeama SC midfielder Salim Adams has shed light on the team’s confidence heading into their emphatic victory over Asante Kotoko, revealing that the players believed they could dominate from the outset.
Adams was the standout performer in the Week 29 clash at the TnA Stadium, scoring twice as Medeama cruised to a commanding 4-0 win that strengthened their position in the Ghana Premier League title race.
After being named Man of the Match, the midfielder disclosed that the team entered the contest with a strong belief in their ability to overwhelm Kotoko, even targeting a high-scoring first half before kickoff.
Looking ahead, Adams emphasized that Medeama must maintain focus as the season approaches its climax, with little margin for error in the race for the title.
“If you look at where we are in the league, we cannot let our guard down. Now everything is in our hands, so we go into every game confident to pick all three points.
“We will go for the three points in the rest of the games, and all five matches will be like finals for us,” Salim Adams said.
With just five matches remaining, Medeama find themselves in a strong position to push for the league crown and will aim to carry their momentum into their next fixture against Berekum Chelsea.
