Medeama SC midfielder Salim Adams has expressed strong confidence in his readiness for senior international duty as he continues to shine in the Ghana Premier League.

The 23-year-old has been one of the standout performers in the ongoing season, playing a central role in Medeama’s push for another league title. Since joining the Tarkwa-based side at the start of the campaign, Adams has quickly become a mainstay in Ibrahim Tanko’s midfield, contributing both goals and influence.

His consistent performances have fueled growing calls for a Black Stars invitation, with many fans tipping him for a place in Ghana’s squad ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup in North America.

Reacting to the growing attention, Adams welcomed the interest and stressed his readiness to take the next step in his career.

“It’s positive for me. This shows I’m doing well, so I have to keep pushing. I’m 100 percent prepared for a Black Stars call-up,” he said.

The dynamic midfielder has previous international experience, having represented Ghana at the U23 level, where he scored once in two appearances. He first made headlines after moving from New Edubiase United to Hearts of Oak in 2021, later gaining exposure abroad during a loan spell with FC Cincinnati 2 in the United States.

With his current form attracting widespread praise across the domestic scene, Adams is determined to maintain his momentum and strengthen his case for a maiden senior call-up as Ghana continues preparations for the global showpiece.
