 Black Queens striker Princella Adubea has heaped praise on the Ghana senior women’s national team for their performance and depth of talent at the just-ended 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON) in Morocco.

Ghana’s Black Queens clinched the bronze medal at the continental showpiece. Despite a slow start to the tournament, the team rallied to reach the semi-finals and eventually edged South Africa on penalties in the third-place playoff.

Speaking during an interview on Fire for Fire on Adom TV, Adubea expressed her admiration for the quality of players in the current squad, attributing the team’s success to the depth and balance across all positions.

“The quality of the Black Queens team is very high from the goalkeeping department to the attackers. All the players have genuine talents,” she stated.
